Vianney De Aquino, Haute Couture Designer and owner of Viann’k Mansur was selected as Top High Fashion Designer of the Year 2023 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the industry.  

Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself; only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations, and contributions to their communities. Born in Mexico City, Vianney de Aquino is a businesswoman whose lifelong passion has been art, and after finishing her studies in her hometown, she chose to specialize in fashion and haute couture. Before embarking on her career path, Vianney earned a Bachelor’s Degree in 1994. Still, she ultimately relies on hands-on knowledge rather than academic achievement to captivate consumers and expand her business. With her focus on art, Vianney de Aquino developed a distinctive aesthetic that sets her apart from other designers. The combination of her artistic background and business skills allowed her to create fashion collections that are not only visually stunning but also commercially successful. 

Mexico City’s diverse cultural heritage and traditions influenced Vianney de Aquino’s work, adding a touch of Mexican flair and uniqueness to her designs. Incorporating elements of local craftsmanship, textiles, or traditional techniques can help create a strong sense of identity and differentiate her brand in the global fashion market before launching her business in the United States. Ms. De Aquino has been featured in the Turkish edition of Vogue Magazine for her creative work.

Vianney de Aquino established connections with other designers, artists, and industry professionals, allowing her to showcase her work in prestigious fashion shows, events, and exhibitions. Through these partnerships, she gained valuable experience, leading to opportunities to work with Mexican celebrities and contestants in beauty pageants. In addition, she considers becoming the first Mexican designer to work in Dubai a significant career triumph. 

Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. De Aquino has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her accomplishments. This year she will be considered for IAOTP’s Empowered Woman Award and to be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. She will also be honored for her recognition as  Top High Fashion Designer of the Year 2023 at IAOTP’s annual awards gala at the iconic Plaza Hotel in NYC this December.
