On November 30th, 2022, LSET conducted another soft-skill development workshop on effective communication skills. In the continuation of the institution’s soft-skill development series, LSET completed another successful workshop to help future professionals with their communication skills. The workshop focused on helping the participants to develop their communication skills and become the right fit for diverse modern workplaces.
The LSET speaker gave enough time to introduce the participants to the fundamentals of effective communication skills in the workplace. This would help them to become a better contributor in a positive and collaborative work environment, reduce inefficiencies, improve confidence, improve work relations, and enhance negotiation skills.
Today, every workplace is looking for professionals with effective communication skills to adapt to modern and remote working environments to deliver projects timely and effectively. The workshop was very helpful for the students and professionals who aspire to come out of their comfort zone and shyness to develop their personalities with good communication skills and conflict mitigation abilities. At an advanced level, they were able to explore empathetic listening and perspective-talking skills. These skills would be very beneficial in their future to managing difficult personalities and problem-oriented personalities. The LSET’s soft-skill development workshop also enabled the participants to openly discuss their doubts and questions with the speaker. Ultimately, this helped them to improve their communication skills and improve their chances to develop better relationships in their personal and professional lives.
